I feel bad that the last few days have been easy. When riding for a charity you feel that every day should be difficult. When you run a marathon every mile is usually a struggle but I can’t lie, with the wind behind us and extremely flat roads the miles come easily. I know that this luck can’t hold out much longer. We’ve had extremely beautiful weather but as we are about to enter Virginia I know we’re going to hit cooler temperatures and spring rains. How can we not, it will be the North East.

This mornin, expecting an easy 65 mile day we finally stopped and had a leisurely breakfast. We stopped at lighthouses and other points of interest. I spent an hour or more at the Wright Brothers Memorial and Museum. It was really something I was looking forward to doing since I had recently read David McCullough’s book, The Wright Brothers.

Today was definitely a sightseeing day. Tomorrow things will be tougher as we have a 90+ mile day. I won’t be looking at much except a white line on the road.
