I’m feeling better even though I still have a cough. The Bike Plague is winding down, I hope.
We had an incredible 70 mile ride along the Delaware River and the surrounding area. Our ride started in New Jersey but we crossed over into Pennsylvania to ride through the Deleware Water Gap. There was absolutely no traffic the entire 70 miles. However, we did have a significant amount of climbing. One hill topped out at a 20% grade. I had to serpentine up it. But the beauty surrounding the Gap area was stunning. There were waterfalls, fly fishing streams and a number of parks.

I rode with Dave Suriani, my longtime friend and Adam, who I’ve done a number of rides with. We road at a leisurely pace even though we knew a severe storm was looming. We entered into Port Jervis, New York just minutes before the storm hit.
We’re staying at the First Assembly of God and Pastor Carl prepared a great dinner for us. Live is good.
