Thank to my many friends and family members who donated to my local MS ride (The Escape to the Lake).The Escape to the Lake was especially difficult for me this year as I chose to ride 100 miles on the first day. This was a challenging option because of the 6,000 feet of elevation gain. At the age of 72, this was quite a struggle for this old man.  My next challenge will be to ride 361 miles around the Olympic Peninsula with Bike the US for MS. I will also be a route leader for Bike the US for MS's bike ride from Pittsburgh to Washington, DC (335 miles). My goal remains the same and that is to raise as much money as I can in the fight to bring an end to MS.
